I love the way tumblr allows so many different groups to collect together and give us the opportunity to learn.
It gives shy people a voice, it gives loud people a reason to be quiet, it allows people the potential to learn to fall in love based on personality alone and not to judge people on…anything.
It collects models, perverts, scientists, nerds, jocks, plastics, makeup artists, artists, writers, poets, depressed people, the wise, the naïve, the innocent and the absolute filthy.
It has changed me entirely, it’s given me confidence, it’s given me a voice where I thought I would never be able to speak up or survive.
It makes us one in the hell hole we live in and it gives us reason.
Together we are strong and can change this world; if we stay together.
It bums me out when people reblog a picture of my body and feel the need to put a disclaimer about how not everyone might find me attractive, but they do, or that they really admire my confidence to be on the internet in spite of being fat or something (always unspoken, but that’s the implication). Like would you reblog a skinny girls picture and ever say something like that? Like why do you need a disclaimer to reblog a fat person?
it takes me like 3 days to wake up in the morning
oh my god
